Men's Skin Care
07.10.2025
Contrary to popular belief, men's skin care doesn't have to be complicated. With a basic yet effective care routine, you can keep your skin healthy, clean, and youthful.
1. CLEANSING (MORNING & EVENING)
You should definitely skincare your face at the beginning and end of the day.
Why?
It removes oil, dirt, and dead skin cells.
What to use?
Oily skin: A purifying facial cleanser in gel or foam form.
Dry skin: A gentle cleanser in cream or milk form.
Combination skin: A balanced cleanser.
Twice a day (morning & evening).
2. TONER (OPTIONAL)
After cleansing, it tightens pores and balances the skin's pH.
What does it do?
It helps prevent the formation of blackheads and acne.
For oily skin: Toners containing salicylic acid are recommended.
3. MOISTURIZING (EVERY DAY)
While men's skin is generally thicker and oilier, it still needs moisturizing.
What to use?
Oily skin: Gel-based, oil-free moisturizers
Dry skin: Thicker, nourishing creams
Combination skin: Light, water-based products
4. SUNSCREEN (EVERY MORNING)
Protects skin against aging, blemishes, and sun damage.
Use a sunscreen with at least SPF 30.
Apply it whenever you go outside, even when it's cloudy.
5. WEEKLY CARE (OPTIONAL BUT BENEFICIAL)
1-2 times a week:
Exfoliation (scrub): Removes dead skin cells and unclogs pores
Mask: Clay masks are ideal for controlling oil and blackheads
Tips for Men:
Aftershave: Use an alcohol-free, soothing lotion or balm after shaving. If you're grooming your beard: The skin under your beard should also be moisturized. You can use beard oil.
Healthy skin = healthy living: Drinking enough water, getting enough sleep, and a balanced diet also affect skin health.
