Dermatherapy
What is Dermatherapy?
Dermatherapy is a treatment method that uses a device called a dermaroller, consisting of 192 extremely thin steel needles arranged on a cylindrical drum. The fine needles of the dermaroller penetrate the skin easily, even with very light application. Models measuring 0.5, 1, 1.5, and 2 mm are available for various purposes. The needles create microchannels in the skin. These channels can be thought of as passages under the skin.
Dermatherapy is the process of delivering Dermaheal's products containing growth factors, biomimetic peptides, and stem cell extracts, as well as special serums, through these microchannels into the deeper layers of the skin. Unlike injections, the desired topical formulation penetrates the skin up to 200 times more through these microchannels, allowing for the delivery of high amounts of the necessary active ingredients to the areas where they are most needed.
Another benefit of dermatherapy stems from the Dermaroller's own action. The microchannels created by the Dermaroller are perceived by the skin as a wound. Even if there is no visible wound, the skin initiates an internal repair mechanism. One of the most important functions of this mechanism is the synthesis of structures such as collagen, hyaluronic acid, and elastin fibrils, again influenced by the increased production of growth factors within the skin. These substances provide the skin with an anti-aging effect.
Primary Uses of the Dermaroller:
In dermatology, it increases the penetration of topical formulas into the skin by up to 200 times. It maximizes the formula's effectiveness in the skin.
It provides an anti-aging effect by stimulating new collagen, elastin, fibronectin, and hyaluronic acid.
The Dermaroller can be used for melasma and hyperpigmentation.
Dermaroller has very successful results on acne scars.
Dermaroller helps reduce large pores in the skin.
Dermaroller reduces the appearance of stretch marks.
Dermaroller is effective in increasing mobility in burn scars.
